Gauge Cluster Options

In the middle of an LS1 / T56 swap, into a 1985 Z28 that was factory TPI and automatic, which was later changed to an older carb 350. I will no longer be able to use the original cable setup, as nothing will be driving the cable, and was wondering if anyone has any swap ideas?

I understand there is a converter, but given the price I'd just as soon build a whole new cluster setup. Mostly curious if anyone is aware of any options that can swap in and run from the LS1 pcm like the 90-92 clusters. Thanks guys!

I did the LS swap in my ‘84 Trans Am. And I kept my stock gauges. Your speedometer is probably mechanical. T56cablespeedometer can convert a T56 tailshaft to accept a cable. The guy there has posted on this site, and his conversion worked well. I know you said your car was converted to carburetor. If your C100 plug is still in tact, you can identify the wires that lead to the other gauges.
