Trunk center trim interchangeability question

Hello, BRAND-NEW member here. Picked up a solid 89' Iroc Convertible as a project to restore with my son before he heads off to college this fall. We are missing a few interior trim pieces. One is the center trunk trim piece, the other is the passenger side trunk trim piece. (We have the driver side lockable storage box.) I found the center trunk trim piece on Ebay, but it's not convertible specific and I'm not sure if this piece is interchangeable between convertible/non-convertible bodies. Hoping someone can answer this. Thanks in advance!

Re: Trunk center trim interchangeability question

Just make sure you have the version for the pull down motor (if your model has that too).Since the slam shut version has a smaller "hump".There's also the t-top holes for the straps/buckles and the locking cover version that has a ledge to support the lid when you close it, but these two should not affect the interchange-ability.Just a cosmetic difference.
I got mine from a non vert for my car and it fits fine.I also used a non vert spare tire cover, i just had to trim the excess material so it would fit properly and welcome to the forum.

Thanks for quick reply. I was hoping that was the answer, will provide more options to find suitable replacement.
