HELP NEEDED WHAT WITH DASH

what is this part called I have a 89 irocz

what is this part of the Dash called where it says EFS and it had the Z28 badge on further right

Dash hull, dash shell, dash frame, entire dash, or "that shall which not be named, for it will be a bitch to change out for a hairline crack."

I'd just call it the entire dashboard. Gonna be a big job to replace that.

X2. My'86 IROC is cracked in that exact same place. Maybe because these cars flex so much? Whatever the reason, I figured, if I ever have the dash completely out, I will attempt to replace it. I imagine it will just crack again at a later date, though.

Mine was cracked there and in other places. I had the entire dash out at one point to redo a lot of stuff underneath and repaired all the cracks with pieces of window screen and plastic epoxy on the backside (after roughing up the plastic surface). I put the little pieces of screen down and then smeared the plastic epoxy over it. I held and clamped everything together until the quick set epoxy dried enough to hold. The cracks are still there, but not very noticeable at all since they are pinched tightly back together. I'm actually surprised the repair has been holding strong over 10 years now.
