Help with under dash location

Anyone know what is immediately above this section under the dash? Was going to use some small self tapping screw to mount keyless entry box that is just hanging there at the moment. Don't really want to cause a leak or drill into something important.

FYI...This was someone else photo from this site...It was easier than crawling under that dash again!

Thats probably the cowl area where the wiper linkage is, and where water channels away and dumps out the sides. Maybe use double sided tape instead.

I was thinking velcro, but tape would work. I don't think I'd drill into that.

Re: Help with under dash location

Good call on the double sided tape. I originally made a bracket that mounted to the automatic pedals/brake booster bolts. However, I'm converting to manual and my custom bracket no longer works given the extra brackets to support the manual pedal assembly. I mocked up a new bracket but it would be a pain to take on and off but would work. Not sure the juice is worth the squeeze on this one.
