Dash? Nothing says you need a dash.
I run a factory style dash pad. The face of the dash is a sheet of aluminum just to mount some gauges and switches. The main purpose of my dash and dash pad is to hide all the wiring under it. The dash and pad could be all aluminum if I wanted.
Now if you're running in a specific class such as Stock Eliminator, the dash must remain factory although there doesn't have to be anything behind it.
