My Driver's side headrest won't extend more than a 1/2" or so while the passenger side as you can see in the pic extends fully.
Does anyone know how to fix this? It almost seems like the cog gets stuck then slips inside. It would make the drive so much more comfortable.
I've also been debating having the seats re-done in leather if anyone has any recommendations.

As an update, if you tilt it all the way back you can pull part of it down to see the threads that push/pull the piece that extends the headrest.
I shot some WD40 into the threads and kept turning little by little and it did free it up - I also noticed the left side **** was cracked internally and I had to use the right side **** to get it out further.
Since I was able to extend it I won't attempt to take it apart and potentially damage something else.
