8 pt Roll Cages in 3rd Gens?
I bought a Competition Engineering 8 point roll cage for my car and am looking for some install videos or pictures of anyone else that put one of these in their 3rd gen.
I searched the forums and came up empty...

there is no way you searched the forums and came up empty!
I searched for this topic several times in recent years and there are many threads going back to the early 2000's with roll bar info. Search harder!! I also documented my roll bar project in my large multi-page build thread, This roll bar is not a kit. A local fabricator built/bent it by hand to fit the car. This was in May/June 2021. It is awesome!
here is a link to the photo album (click the photo, it is the link)
and some quick photos from that photo album

IROC. Is yours a 6 or an 8 point cage?
I'm always interested in the treatment being given to the bars that run down the A-pillar and intersect with the dash.

Re: 8 pt Roll Cages in 3rd Gens?
So, even though mine is not an 8 point cage, I figured I would give you some pictures to help your thought process begin. Mine is a 6-point roll-bar. I did NOT want the diagonal bars going from the main hoop over to the driveshaft tunnel because I wanted to keep the rear seats for putting stuff back there. So instead of an 8point bar, I did a 6point bar. So since its just a bar, I don't haev any bars running down along the A pillars. I have gauges in the drivers side a-pillar (nitrous system pressure, oil pressure, and AEM oxygen sensor) in a autometer 3-gauge pod.
yes, dont rely on the little box above to do the search.. go to google and type in your topic...followed by "www.thirdgen.org" and that will get you much better results. Thats typically how I do it when digging for info on this forum
