When I bought the replacement carpet for my 91 TA Vert from www.stockinteriors.com, (which I think is ACC???) I first bought 2 yards of carpet (which they sell by the yard,) to specifically do the back of the back seat and the door panels.
I rebuilt my door cards and then had my upholsterer sew on the replacement carpet.
The "carpet" on GTA-style door panels is seat fabric, so it never matched the floor carpet.
I suppose it can be "dyed." And if the fabric is fine except for fading color, then dying it is probably your best option.
Or if you've reupholstered your seats, then maybe you can try to get some of that new fabric and have the door panels redone with it. I don't know if anyone has successfully reupholstered those door panels, so you might be the first.
Because of the gta pocket in the door and it looks like the fabric is hot pressed to the vinyl. I really don't see any other way of doing it other than dying it.
I have the 88 gta dove grey and medium grey leather so this color grey is only on the doors.
