Seat recline adjustment

Seat recline adjustment

The recline adjustment is stripped from rear seat passengers pulling on the seat back to exit,easy fix?

IIRC, there is no 'adjustment' per se, other than the adjustment that's there with moving the lever. It's spring-loaded meshing gears. You can pull the cover off to make sure no junk or corrosion have made meshing the teeth of the gears difficult, otherwise I believe you'll have to replace the mechanism. 4 bolts hold it to the seat, though, and while the fabric and foam will wear with age, unless the one you get to replace it with came from a car where the little snot lockers were yanking on it, you should be good to go.
