Convert Dash Lights to Always On
I always drive with my sunglasses on, even on cloudy days. This makes my dash gauges unreadable due to the dark tint and my the fact that my glasses are for distance only. I would like to separate the dash lights from the headlight/parking light switch so my dash lights are on when the car is running. Have any of you done this?

What vehicle and year?
Once we know that then maybe somebody can help hunt down a wiring diagram. Basically you'll want to rewire your dash illumination circuit to a key switch power source.

can run direct power to the dash lights with accessory/run power and bypass the dimmer sw.
