lt1 intake modded for distributor
I am going to try my luck on this one. I am looking to put an lt1 intake on my block instead of tpi... so, I was hoping someone had one that had already been modded for a distributor. I understand that there are more mods needed to make it fit right, but the distributor hole and spacer is the only part that makes me nervous, so before I just grab a stock one and hack away, I wanted to see if anyone happened to have one with this done.
Thanks

Re: lt1 intake modded for distributor
contact streetlethal he has a lt1 intake or atleats had on almost ready to go, not sure if he ever sold it or not.
he modified his differently then most though , he cut out the section were the dizzy would go then cut a sbc intake that had the dizzy hole so it fit exactly right into the lt1 intake .though i dont belive it was welded up yet.
if it needs to be welded it would be as simple as bolting it to a block lining up the dizzy piece droping in the dizzy to align everything and then tacking it in place. remove the intake and finish welding it up
