Dart LS Next SHP Pro Block, (220 BHN), 4.125” bore and 4.00” stroke, i.e. 427 cubic inches. Dart Center Counter weighted Crankshaft. 6.125” Callies H-beam forged 4330 Ultra Rods. Diamond Pistons, Part # 11595R1 and rings. The rods and pistons were sourced from Borowski Race Engines in Illinois.
The short block was assembled by Mission Machine in San Antonio, Texas. Holley 302-3 pan installed, but I have a Holley 302-1 also. It just wouldn’t clear the K member in my 3rd Gen Z28, (car also for sale separately).
The heads, cam, (Comp Cams custom grind), valvetrain, ATI harmonic balancer, Cometic head gaskets, Manton 3/8” pushrods, ported oil pump, Cloyes timing chain, and MSD Atomic AirForce LS7 2701 Intake Manifold were all single sourced and port matched by/from Tony Mamo at ASM Motorsports in Castaic, CA. Mamo Motorsports 265cc LS7 Heads, (TFS Castings), with upgrade .650 PAC springs and Ti retainer. Severe duty HR valve spring upgrade, (PAC 1200 series spring). Yella Terra MMS LS7 Ultralite Shaft rockers with axle wheel dedicated oiling.
It includes a Mechman 250 Amp large case hairpin alternator with a GM 4 pin plug pigtail with sense and excite wire, a Nick Williams 102mm DBW throttle body with the correct heavy duty return to close against boost pressure, a Meziere 55 gpm water pump, (Part # MEZ-WP333S), and a PowerMaster XS 9509 starter. It sits on a new engine stand with a crank from Summit that goes with it.
I have a complete Pro-EFI engine and transmission management setup, (they’re in Phoenix), that is for sale separately. There’s more odds and ends that go also. It has Injector Dynamics ID1700 injectors.
The objective was to make 1000 horsepower with a single Garrett G42-1450 turbocharger, (also for sale), on 93 Octane pump gas at 15 lbs of boost, i.e. one atmosphere. Big motor, low boost. Torque. The compression ratio is set at 10.0 to 1, and this will live on the street or track. The injectors I have, (ID700, Part # 1700.34.14.15.8), will run 93 Octane or E85. I’m told this setup will make over 700 bhp NA.
