LT1 swap needs?
Are the 4th gen radiator and dual fan setup an absolute must for the swap of the LT1 into a 3rd gen? Currently, I have an aftermarket aluminum radiator and a high output single fan I just wanted to make sure before going any further. Also I need to know if the fuel tank needs to be dropped for this application to install the new fuel lines? And if so does the rearend have to be dropped to access it? In addition to those few questions I would like to know if a new throttle cable is needed from an LT1? And last but not least if anyone has ever done the swap and did their own wiring I would like to know how difficult it was on a scale of 1-10 and how much time did it take to complete the process and get the car running error free?
Thanks for all the help
Thanks for all the help
no, rad. and fans are not necessary, you can use the thirdgen ones.
fuel pump is fine for a stock engine, put in a 255lph pump if you plan upgrades
use your TPI cable
wiring = 5
