LS1 Fuel layout?

Ok im using the 4th gen tank, with the in-tank pump and regulator. Will this layout work? and can i just use my stock Fuel lines? One would be the feed line and the other the pressure line or whatever its called

I used the 4th gen tank

the 4th gen lines will bolt into the third gen downline... the fuel filter will fit but it will be in a cockeyed position, not the stock one so you will have to rig something up

It just needs one line to go down as its a returnless system

I then took the 3rd gen return line and used it for the 4th gen evap line.. just some hose and clamps..

golden..

the 4th gen lines down the car will not work, they got some wack *** bends in them

pictures would be ideal.. i havent seen my car in like 6 months tho so i'll try to explain it a little bit better

heres what the stock look is

here the fuel filter is east to west on the car.. with the line hooking into it and out

i cant for the life of me find a pic of the 4th gen lines..

there are three plastic lines coming from the fuel tank

feed.. return..evap/purge

there is only two lines down the body tho.. but you cant use them cause they have some wicked hooks at the end,ive laid them out on the ground and its not even close...

ok.. from there you will have the three plastic lines..

the feed line clips into the fuel filter which then goes to a hardline that goes into a metal T.. the return line also connects from a quick connect to a hardline then into this T... and like a glove the 3rd gen feed line will connect into that T as well

now you will have the purge line as a quick connect fitting, the plastic one.. i just hacked the line for the evap off the 4th gen lines pluged it in.. I then chopped the line going to the stock 3rd gen return in about the same area.. some 1/4" hose and two clamps and it is now my purge feed for the front

im pretty sure I used the ls1 filter bracket and it mounted to the frame and tied all the lines up nicely.. the filter runs north/south unlike the stock 3rd gen

i'll be home at x-mas and if it was good it still might be in the garage and I'll snap some pictures of it

maybe the third line was a metal return line.. there should be three lines tho unless you didnt get the evap stuff..

did you get anything from the 4th gen lines.. you will have to track down the T and all that if you dont have it

Anyone figure out the fuel gauge issue on this swap? As in did you manage to get your stock gauge to work properly off the ls1 sending unit?
