Is this the right MAF for my LT1?

I pulled my LT1 out of a '94 Camaro, and it is definatly an F-body LT1(2 bolt mains, but aluminum heads). The thing is, It looks like it has a 3" MAF on it. I thought only the B-bodys had the 3" MAF, while F-bodys were 3.5"? I've also had problems with poor gas milage, and when its really cold, it starts hard when very cold out and sometimes floods(again only when it's very cold, like below 25*).

If I do have a b-body MAF for some reason, would that make it run excessivly rich? With the smaller MAF, wouldn't it make the computer think it's getting more air than it actually is, causeing the rich condition? Thanks for the info.

These motors run inherently rich from the factory, with mine running it smells like real heavy gas. I'm wanting to say mine is a 3" MAF in my '95 but I'm running around 25mpg on this tank with the 3.70's and 6-speed. I'll get to find out about hard starts in the morning when I get ready to goto work, it's supposed to get below 30 tonight so I'll let you know what happens.

I'm barely getting 18 MPG highway with my 2.73s, thats not any better than my LO3 was getting. It actually flooded and died on me this morning as soon as I left the driveway, so it's running much richer than it should. I had to hold it wide open to get it started, just like on a flooded carbed car Once it's warmed up though, it runs great

something is definitely wrong if you're having to floor it to start it. try finding a MAF you know is off an F-body and swapping it. I picked one up from the junk yard for about $30
