how is everyone hooking up their clutch pedals ,i used a 3rd gen pedal with the ls1 master but had to modify the throw by drilling a hole higher up to get a longer throw but when i looked at it closer a couple months later i realized the rod wasnt riding straight down the cylender and new it wasnt long before it gave out and well today it did , so i was wondering what peopole were doing , i was thinking of using the ls1 pedals and hacking off the gas pedal . id appreciate any feedback

I got a set of 4th gen pedals to go in my car.

Someone before posted up showing the difference between 3rd and 4th gen pedals and you will be better off with the 4th gen pedals.

were your cars originally 5speeds? Could you use the stock pedals and master if you wanted to?

I'm using the 4th gen pedals in mine. I don't know why people say to cut the gas pedal off though. They fit perfect in my car. And as far as I know the stock 3rd gen manual pedals work just fine with the swap.

4th gen pedals, the LS1 pedals are different than the 3rd gen and LT1 pedals. The LS1 master cylinder is different than the ones on the T5's.

the thrid gen pedals will not work right. Here is an old post by mr dude from a bit back that explains why. He had a picture on there too from what i remember, if he sees this thread and still has it maybe he can post it again.

Im using the 4th gen pedals, and 4th gen master cylinder. It seems to be working perfect(although the engine is in the car yet). I dont have any clearence issues and i can compress the cylinder all the way.
