Yay! My LT1 came in! HELP!

Hey gang! I am finally in the last few stages of getting my camaro back on the road. Now I have TONS of spare F-body parts lying around. I have the harness out of a 92 TPI that has been somewhat cut up. I have access to a 93 wiring harness and computer. Which one should I use? Next question....I guess I need to use the alternator from a 93 LT1. What about the power steering pump and the AC compressor? How do I bypass the throttle body heating lines? And is that a oil cooler on the housing for the filter? Last if that is an oil cooler, do I need to change radiators? Just a lot of questions. Thanks guys.

One last thing, severe budget but can be flexible.....need headers....screw manifolds.

Start by reading TexasLT1's LT1 Swap Guide: http://www.geocities.com/texaslt1/lt1swap/swap.html

www.shbox.com has a lot of info about LT1 stuff like How-to's and wiring, couldn't find info for TB bypass for a 93 though, might want to check out the camaroz28.com message boards for that stuff in the lt1 tech section.

Probably be a good idea to just take out the oil cooler if you have it, maybe, i thought i heard some bad things about it, I can't remember though. You'd have to use the 4th gen radiator if you keep it in.

You can use the thirdgen radiator. The 4th gen radiator has really good dual fans that help with cooling but requires just a little work to get the radiator in.

Headers. If you have emission laws in your state then I would worry about EGR and smog stuff. Make sure you get headers from a company that makes a y-pipe for them also, i think most or all of them do though.

I took the oil cooler off of mine with no problems yet.
