A quick question. LT1 & 4L60E guys

Did you guys that have installed the LT1 and 4L60E into your cars change the transmission mounts or did it bolt up with no problems? I was asking because the mount on the 4L60E sits back alittle further so how did you guys handle this?

Thanks,
Jay

I just put the combo in with the stock LO3 motormounts (poly inserts, of course) and a poly tranny mount (same mounting as stock) without any problems. If the 4L60E mount is farther back, that is news to me. The 700R4 and 4L60E are virtually identical externally. If there is a difference in the mounting, the slot in the crossmember is long enough to accomodate the difference.
