LT1 Heads, GMPP Carb Intake on Gen 1 Block(?)

I've seen the write up about using LT1 heads and intake on a Gen1 block, but what about using the GMPP LT1 Carb Intake with them? Would I still have to block off those two (perhead) large water ports, or would a Gen 1 Gasket solve that problem?

you would still have to block of the water passages, the intake has nothing to do with those. Those passages are what make the LT1/4 heads reverse cooled.

Hey thanks.
Okay, so I'll still need to have the plugs done. Other than that, you think it would be worthwhile? So which head gasket do you recommend?
