Carbed fuel lines vs. Fuel injection lines

My camaro had rubber hose from the tank to the metal lines then metal to the pump, are the fuel injected lines the same? Coming off the sending unit as rubber then go into metal lines to the filter then on to the rubber ends on the drivers side? Will this pose a problem? I guess what I'm trying to ask is if the rubber lines off the sending unit need to be changed to a high pressure type line or will the stock rubber hose be sufficient? Doesn't the LT1 run at 45 psi or is it more? BTW, I'm using a Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator and steel braided fuel line from that to the fuel rail.

Did your car used to have a carb? If so, its best to swap the metal hard lines and swap the sending unit with one from a fuel injected car. The entire hard lines can be swapped with the engine in the car, its more difficult that way though.

So I need a sending unit too? Mine has the in tank fuel pump allready, anyone have a diagram showing how the FI lines come from the tank to the fuel rail?
----------
My plan was to buy the TPI fuel lines and use high pressure fuel line hose from the sending unit to the lines then up top I was going to make steel braided lines to fit the connection at the end of the fuel line to the regulator and use the lines and fittings from the kit I bought from the regulator to the fuel rail. I was going to do this on the supply side only as the return isn't under pressure.

I have a set of TPI hardlines left over if you want them it had one of the fittings cut off when I got the car though under the hood. I'm still using the original feed line from the sending unit to the hardlines, but the return and vent is just regular 5/16 fuel line.

I kept the carb sender and installed an inline pump.
I also replaced the stock rubber lines with high pressure fuel injection rubber hoses and used 2 hose clamps on each end to make sure it was nice and secure.
Had no leaks at all.

on another swap, we used braided lines all the way from the tank to the engine, and put AN fittings on the fuel rail and on the gas tank.

I'll take those off your hands, would like to talk to you in person about this anyway because I've got a few questons. How much you want for them? Since your right down the road I could meet you at Kingston. Thanks klortho

Thanks for the pics, that helped answer my queston. I wanted to see how the lines were ran so I wouldn't screw up and have a leaking or weak set of fuel lines.
