here are some vids of my third gen with a 242/248 T Rex cam. It is still untuned and I still need to drop in the fast90/90 set up that is going in this weekend.

Sounds nice.
What did you use for your intake, and where did you route it?

I bought two 45 degree 3.5'' pipes and one 3.5'' rubber elbow from intakehoses.com and a k&n filter connected at the bottom.

I'm jealous of LS1's....you guys have such awesome intakes and heads it's unreal. Theyre not ports, theyre DOORWAYS. And god, the camshafts you guys get away with...

That sounds sick. I want a cammed LS in my car now. I guess I'll just have to put a huge *** cam in my little LT1. I want one so bad after hearing that. What size stall do you have?

It has stock heads, planing on getting darts 205's. It has Hawks s.s. LT headers with 3'' collectors with a custom y pipe and a dynomax 12'' bullet dumped before the axles. I also just installed a fast 90/90 setup with a NX Gemini nitrous kit ans a ASP pulley.

Have you put in the fast 90/90 yet and gotten her tuned? I love the way your car sounds...and looks. very menacing.

Is anyone else having problems viewing the videos? The site will pop up but the video won't play.

Re: My T Rex camed third gen
T-Rex is the style of cam, made (IIRC) by Thunder Racing. Good for mid-high RPM power. I'm not sure about the original poster, but I used a 3/4" 90 degree Dayco 80416 (Napa 9820) hose bend on the larger side, and then regular bulk hose for the smaller side. Works great. The OP probably used some longer pieces and tucked them out of the way.

If you look at the video there is no fan box in the engine bay. Not that I saw. Looks like he deleted the heat.

Re: My T Rex camed third gen
That sounds really pretty. I can't WAIT to get mine started. When are you going to get in the FAST and tune?
I have a somewhat unrelated question...what's required to run those 17x11s? I've got a 4th gen rear...would I need spacers? Thanks!

Re: My T Rex camed third gen
Damn I havent keeped up with this site for a while. I did install the fast90/90 and took it out to the track. It still needs a tune and I'm also gonna be ordering some afr 225 small bore heads soon and well be installing a custom Patrick G spec'ed solid roller cam with it.
Here is a vid of the car at the track. Cam, and 90/90 only

----------
No spacers needed witha 4th gen rear. the front weels well require a spacer adapter.

I think that Photobucket is down today or something. I can't log on and your video doesn't work.
I have 17x9.5 ZR1s on the car now. I just want to get some x11s at some point.

Dang, that sounds pretty good. Good launch too. What size were rear tires? I'm having traction problems with my stock LT1 on my 18x8's and I'm going to try to fit BMW 18x9.5 wheels in the back.
