Tuning software?
What tuning software are you LSX guys using? I am thinking about buying HP tuners, but want to make sure I'm not missing the boat on another brand.

HP Tuners is probably the best one out there, I know of alot of guys using it and they like it way better than LS1edit.

Hp tuner is software, wich means you need a laptop and its for one vehicle only. Right? What about Engine and Tranny from differen cars? I case you go the LS2/Gen IV style way with seperate controllers for Engine and Transmission.

I use mine with a laptop, but I believe they have a "box" now for people without laptops. When you purchase the software, you get a whole model year with it. So no, its not just one car. You can also add many more different models to your software for around $200 more. Pretty much any OBDII GM can be tuned with this software. A few were left out, but not many.
Also, with the new Real Time Tuning, they have raised the bar quite a bit. And with the soon to be released Auto Tune feature tuning will have never been easier.
