power steering

Maybe not the right forum, but I don't see what I need in the search engine either.

I'm going from a 2.8L to an LS2, and now that the engine's out I'm thinking about the steering box. I haven't see anyone else talk about upgrading this, but is it worth switching to an IROC steering box? Better turn ratios? What's the average cost of that?

Thanks.

Cheap at the local scrap yard if you pull it yourself. Easy swap. Not sure of the turn ratios on a stock v6 box. Prolly the same.

You'd have better luck posting this in the V6 section

I picked up an IROC rebuilt piece from NAPA for $160, after the core exchange.
