LT1 swap with LT1 harness
I'm rebulding my LT1 and looking ahead to the wiring and wanted to know if I use the under hood harness out of a LT1 how would the wiring be at the bulk head? I think a few on here have done it I just wanted know how it will wire up.My harness is cut up some on my car now and I think it has to come out of the same year of the motor??

The bulkhead connector is actually two pieces. The smaller piece is the forward lights, wipers and such. That one you keep. The larger outboard piece I only kept a couple of the leads for battery and ignition on power connections. Your LT1 engine harness goes in the passenger side. Hopefully you got the under hood fuse/relay box and wiring from your donor as well. The relay center will need the pink with black stripe wire from the original bulkhead to power it up.
The LT1 engine harness is much simpler than the 92.

Ok that gets me started but is that all I need to keep? And I got every under hood wire, fuesbox I could from it.But dang looking over it tonight looks like C-210 through C-230 are cut off. Not good after looking over the whole harness looks like I'm going to buy another used harness. And see if I have better luck.
