Progress on FM LS1 Turbo

I am currently building a homemade Front Mount LS1 Turbo project....I am using exhaust manifolds from a 98 Camaro and turning them forward.
Other parts:
Turbonetics T-76
Turbonetics Racegate Wastegate
Turbonetics Godzilla BOV
Large FM intercooler.
60 lb injectors
Walbro 355 Fuel Pump
and many more

here are some progress pics...Still a lot of work to do.

Heres the latest update...All pipes are done and getting heat wrapped at this time. Then it's time to put everything back in, finish up the fuel system, and get this thing tuned....I'm only planning on running about 8 lbs. of boost seeing that the stock LS1's dont like more than 600 HP. I'm hoping to make somewhere right above 500 rwhp.

Re: Progress on FM LS1 Turbo

I know that this thread is ancient but i also want to do a fm turbo when i swap in my 6.0, and i wanted to see how you liked your setup. Could you have fit the turbo between the engine and radiator if the fans werent in the way? And can the passenger side manifold be flipped without being modified like you did? thanks for any help

Yes I loved my setup....but I'm currently in the process of changing it...I could not fit it between the radiator and the motor ....I never tried it without the fans in but it might have possibly fit. I don't recall about the manifolds sorry..
I'm currently in the process of changing my whole setup with a custom core support so it's going in between the motor and radiator this time...

Re: Progress on FM LS1 Turbo

I was also planning to use the t76 with my setup at about 10 lbs. How much rwhp are you making with yours up to 10 lbs now? Much lag? Thanks for your time.

I was making 538 rwhp on 10lbs but that was only at 4800 RPMS because my fuel pump couldn't keep up. Not much turbo lag since I chose to go with a smaller exhaust housing ( a .81 a/r)...Any other questions let me know

Good looking set up, were you able to sneak in any track passes before the cold weather?
