88 Iroc 364 carbed LS2 swap

will a TKO 500 or TKO 600 bolt right up to a 364 LS2 motor.

and will a cross brace from Hawks work with this type of transmission? my cousin wants a 5 speed, not a 6speed!

It should bolt cause its the same bolt pattern as a standard sbc. The problem lies in the tranny imput shaft. Its not long enough or something... I believe some company made adapters to make it longer.

There was a thread on ls1tech.com this week about it. You should take a look at it.

As for the crossmember, you should call Hawk directly.

Why? The only five speeds worth using are pricier than a t56 and likely not as strong so whats the point? If hes thinking stock t5 you better make an intervention on that boy asap they are JUNK

tko is pretty stout 5 speed. prolly stronger than a t56.
you can get a small block bellhousing, and mcleod has an adapter for the crank hub and also an adjustable hydraulic throwout bearing.
