TH350/LS1 Swap ??'s
First off, im swaping a 6.0 LQ4 Carbed into my 82 Z.
Im using a built b&m th350 tranny w/ the swap.
my 1st question: Ive heard the 6.0 flywheel will work with the swap, is this true?... IF NOT...what flywheel will work?
2nd: The stock driveshaft should work, correct?
3rd: Can i still use the mph sensor for the th350 and get a box to convert it?
Any help would be great!

The only question I can answer is the first one, you have to use a spacer that GM makes for the flywheel to be set out far enough for the torque converter to bolt up. Stock driveshaft will not work unless you have a longshaft TH350 (sort of like the Turbo 400's in the Caddies) and you will have to get the kit to mount the torque arm up plus a different crossmember. If you have the original driveshaft and crossmember from your '82 it will work just fine, if not you the '82 model shaft and x-member will work.
