digital dash
i have a 86 trans am with a digital dash, my tranny uses a electronics signal there is no speedo cable, since the ls1 swap faq post says 87-up i just wanted to make sure there is not some wierd reason why my speedo would not work with a ls1 swap with out all the converters and boxes thanks,

has to do with the pulses each signal generator or commonly called the vehicle speed sensor puts out as well as the number of wires for the hookup....
