Tb Bump stop mod

Anyone done the Throttle body bump stop mod (grind)? It allows the throttle body to open up further there for letting the engine breath a little more air. I wonder if it is really worth doing. Most stock ls1's only open to about 80 degrees at full throttle. Another 9 or 10 degrees may add a little power eh? At least maybe seat of the pants feel?
