It begins soon!!

Well, I've saved up some change, and hopefully within the next two months, I'll have the car, and the engine should be at the builder! Here's the plan:

90 Camaro
402 LSX block
ETP LS7 heads
LS7 Intake
96lb Injectors
1500hp Pump
BS3 controller
Tubular suspension
Liberty Shifted 6 speed
Moser 12 Bolt with 3:73 gear
10pt cage
Mini Tub
18x8.5 and 18x13 CCW wheels
C6 Z06 brakes (i hope, may just do Baer for $$)

Did I mention a pair of twin 70mm Precision ball bearing turbos through a Bell front mount intercooler?

I'll update as progress happens with pics!

sounds like an awesome plan. have you been stocking up on the parts to start yet or are you still planning.evidently you saved quite a bit if you are doing all that in one shot. good luck on your project

Re: It begins soon!!

Well plans have changed slightly, but not much. Bigger fuel pump, bigger injectors, probably end up with a moser 9" with a 3:55 or 3:42 gear, and won't be doing a pro shifted 6 speed. Just going with the stage 4+ T56 from sixspeeds.com. I plan on doing the Z06 front brakes, but going with a smaller disc in the rear for the ability to put some 15" or 16" tall tires on it for the occassional track days. Everything engine wise is staying the same.

And no, it won't be done in one shot unfortunately. Probably a project that's gonna take about 1.5 years to fully complete. Engine should be done mid summer, and when I get that back I'll start on wiring up this thing. When that's done, it'll go to V&P Racing for the turbos and fab work. I'll post pics as things get done and undone! Hopefully see something by July, at least a car with no motor and pics of mine getting put together.
