Thought I'd pass this information along. I ruined my $35 '95 Caprice LT1 power steering line and had to get a new one.

Advance Auto sold me a the high pressure power steering line for a '95 Camaro Z28 for $19.88 before tax. It will be a while before I try it out since my engine is out of the car at the moment but it looks like its going to work.

 

The engine is out of the car....? What happened?

 

I'm trying to make my engine bay look cleaner. One of the things I decided to was put my a/c compressor in the stock location which meant taking a hammer to the k-member. Then I figured why I'm doing all of that, why not pull the engine completely out and paint the engine bay since its scratched up really bad.

 

thats what I'm planning on doing as well when I pull mine to put the 383 in. might as well clean up the engine bay as much as possible while I'm in there

 

Tried out the line today. Its just way too short, even after I bended it and re-routed it as best as I could. Going back to the 95 Caprice LT1 high pressure line.
