I am looking to upgrade my Hooker 2055's My buddy put them in but they are really holding this motor back with the mods that are done to it. I was to go to some 1 3/4s but dont want to spend too too much. What should I go with hat will fit int he 3rd geb frame?

I am not sure they will be better than the 2055's, but I just ordered the Hedman 66469's. They are a D-port like my heads but are 1 5/8s to 3". They are for the 3rd Gen cars but I haven't received them yet to test fit so...

I assume you have the D-port heads since you have the LT-1.

 

Yes I have dports but i want to upgrade....i have found hooker super comps but they are 575cdn locally.

I built my own headers because of this exact problem. There is no cheap alternative. I spent 400 just in parts and about 60 hours fitting/welding/ fitting ect.
Just save up until you can afford what you need.
