A/C, coolant, and vacum help

Ok I am reaching the end of my LT1 build and ran into problems. First I have the vette setup on mine. I was trying to make the P/S line from a caprice (need help here any suggestions) when I noticed that the A/C compressor didn't line up with the rest of the drive accessories. I am thinking it's the wrong one, but has anyone ran into this?

Second: How do I run the heater and radiator lines? The lower hose won't fit on the radiator.

Third: Help with vacum lines. Sizes, routing, and what should be bypassed?

Re: A/C, coolant, and vacum help

The Caprice P/S line is way too long with the vette brackets. I ended up making one. Can we get some more details? Which radiator and water pump are you running? This will determine which hoses you run. If you are running the third gen radiator, you can use a lower hose for a 92 vette. If it is a fourth gen radiator, you can use a 93-97 Camaro hose. Do you have any pics of the A/C compressor problem? There are pics on my cardomain page that might help you.

Re: A/C, coolant, and vacum help

im using the standard LT1 pump with my 92 radiator. from what i can tell from your pics mine is the wrong A/C compressor. yours is much bigger than mine. yeah i was afraid of having to make my own p/s line. thanks for your info. your pictures are good, but i still cant get all the info from them for the heater lines.

Re: A/C, coolant, and vacum help

My heater hoses are simple straight heater hose. 5/8 and 3/4 hose and clamps. I plugged the extra ports on the water pump with pipe plugs. The only port on the water pump I am using is the one on the top of the passenger side. It is 5/8. I ran a 3/4 hose from the steel pipe that runs along the frame on the passenger side to the return port on the radiator. The second pic shows my power steering line. These pics might help.
