LT1 Oil cooler lines?
I was wondering what NPT size are the fittings that come out on top of the oil filter. I do not have a cooler on my car and the previous owner just looped the lines. But the clamps keeps comming loose on me so I want to make a better setup.
Do these lines have to flow oil through them or can I just block the two off with bolts of some sort?
Or should I just buy a oil cooler for the 80 bucks it is lol.

You can un-do the cooler, it just screwes into the original oil filter housing. Remove, and screw the oil filter on. Can't remember if there are two allen screws holding it on, or 10mm ones, but you can unbolt those and pull the cooler then put the filter adapter back onto the block.
