springs

i need to replace the factory iroc springs since obviously they are 20 years old. Since installing my LS1 i have noticed the car sits up higher obviously due to the weight difference in the front. I plan on getting 1" drop springs but am afraid that it will still sit higher in front due to the engine. Is there a spring out there that compensates for this?

Im using the v6 thirdgen canuck motorsports springs with a 1.6 inch drop all around. I personally like my car's stance. I would reccommend them

Re: springs

I'm running Eibach Sportlines and the stance is fine although they are so low I had poor traction issues at the track even with LCA relocation brackets on the lowest hole. I swap stock height rear springs in when i go down which is a pain in the **** so I plan on modifying the brackets by adding a lower hole so I can keep my bitchin look and still go fast and avoid all the extra track prep.

I have seen other with the Eibach Pro Kit whos stance also looks fine. For what its worth as these cars age on factory springs the rear sags out far more than the front so they all look like their pulling wheelies. Sportlines and LS1 just installed in sig pic

Re: springs

I did the prokit and bilsteins when I did my build. My stance was nice and level and at a decent height. Front end was definetly not higher though...

I got the shocks/struts for pretty cheap online...shockwarehouse i think it was. And the springs I got used from a member here on TGO.
