ls1 into 86 bird weight loss?
how much weight should i lose by swapping in an ls1 t56 into my 86 bird that has a 305 with a t-5 my car currently weighs 3150

the t56 is a pig. the t5 I can carry with one arm. the t56 is like lifting the 700r4 I would guess around a couple hundred

I read somewhere that a T56 without bellhousing is 137 pounds. A T5 is between 88 and 92 pounds depending on witch model you have. I can put a T56 in by myself, so that is probably right for the T56 weight.
