STB w/LT1 in 83 TA not sure what I need

I am putting an LT1 in my 83 TA at the moment, and the problem is that before I changed directions and went LT1, I had already bought a brand new 3-point Strut tower brace for a carb/tbi setup. Now that I'm going LT1, I dont think this STB will work. So I'm curious about whether an STB for the Tuned Port 350's would clear the LT1 intake.

I'm hoping to find someone that will trade a 3 point TPI STB for my Carb/tbi 3 point STB straight up.

the lt1's intake is low enough that i dont think you will have a problem clearing that. The only issues you may have are clearance around accessories

TPI STB will work, in fact its been done before. Can't you wait and find out if the carb stb works once you get the LT1 engine in the bay? Carb stb should work though.

The LT1 intake sits much lower than the TPI, so the TPI brace would easily clear the LT1 intake. I'd be very interested in seeing if the Carb brace is high enough to clear the LT1 plenum, but I'm guessing that it won't. Please update us if you have to try it out yourself though.

I dont know that a tbi / carb one will clear but the BMR 3 point TPI one does just fine.
