Does anyone know if there is a differance between a corvette t56 and a camaro one from the same year. i was wondering because i came across a pretty good deal on a 94 corvette t56. ANy help would be great

 

I believe the C4 T56 are the same as the f-body, just won't have the tailshaft for the torque arm mount (the tailshaft may be different though making it shorter than the f-body one)

 

thanks for the reply would anyone happen to know what the differances in the wireing harness is because well i find alot of auto harnesses but a t56 harness is a bit harder to come by any way to convert on auto to manual?

 

Different animal. I'm not sure if all or just most of the C4's used a ZF 6 speed and its not a great trans to use for a swap. They used a bolt on driveshaft so their is no room for a slip yoke like ours and there is less options for clutches. They are tough though be sure of that. They just dont swap in an easily.

Of course you'll want to double check on the fact that its a ZF I cant say for sure. Might want to check over at corvetteforum
