I blew my vortec motor just about the time a buddy of mine wrecked his firehawk so i now have a 383 lt1 shortblock that i can get for $800. also have another friend with some fully ported stock lt1 heads with springs and rockers and all that already for $500. so i was wondering what else im gonna need?
I was hoping i could bolt my stock accessory bracket up to the lt1 it looks like it has some of the same mounting holes. im gonna get the gmpp carb intake for it. already have the carb and dizzy and headers for angle plug heads. anything i should look out for? havent seen a lot of info on carb lt1 swaps.
