Axle/Gears: Ford 9" 4.11 gears w/ locker
ls1 swap weight
just wondering if anyone knew about how much weight loss can be expected by swapping out an lg4 305 and t/5 for an ls1/t56 combo the car in an 84.

I wouldnt expect more than 100 lbs.
You lose weight with the block and heads, maybe 100-150 lbs.
You gain about 70 lbs with the T56.
Maybe a bit more if you are deleting a/c also.
