LT1 rebuild advice

I have a 95 LT1 that probably could use a freshen up. This is my first engine rebuild so I'm looking for some help and advise.

I was looking at a scat rotating assembly and re-ring since it seems to be cheaper than an OE replacement.

I'd like to stay away from machine work for now so would want to keep the stock bore and stroke.

Does anyone have advice on what to go with?

So long as you didn't spin a bearing or something all you need is a good rebuild kit just hone the block throw in some new rings and bearing and call it a day. What do you need the scat rotating assembly for, unless its forged then your talking about making it a 355 and you would wont and have to take it to a machine shop. If its just a forged crank save the money it would be a wast, just reuse what you have.

Thanks man. Just a re-ring sounds pretty good to me.
