LSx and thirdgen evap/charcoal canister question

Ok I did a search and saw that a few had said it's possible to use the stock thirdgen style purge canister, but not exactly how.

My question isn't technically for an LSx swap but I am using the same style throttle body. So I am wondering if it is possible, where does the vacuum line connect to? Obviously there's no place on the TB itself, so if anyone has done this how did you go about it?

You may have to "T" off the vacuum line for the power booster or drill and tap the plenum for a new fitting. Drilled and tapped mine for a boostline in front of the driver side runner. Pretty easy.

Ok adding a fitting to the plenum is no problem as I already need to do that for my HVAC.
I just wasn't sure which type of vacuum source was needed.

Doesn't have to be a ported vacuum or anything. Constant is fine. Its regulated by the purge valve

Yeah that makes sense. Didn't really think of that.
