Can you use LS1 swap parts on an LS2?
Hello all, My cousin and I are looking to swap an LS1 into my car or even better, an LS2. Does anyone know if the parts on hawks for LS1 Swaps could be used on LS2s including the wiring harness? My cousin (who has a gen 4 T/A) thinks this should not be a problem but I want a few opinions before I invest money in this. Thanks.

Found a decent article comparing the LS1 to the LS2. It seems to confirm what I was thinking, that the block isn't much different. I'd be willing to bet that the motor mounts are the same.

The mounts are in the same spot the ls2 harnesses are different the injector connection, the knock sensors are on the outside the cam sensor is in the front timing cover, and a few other things, and the crank reluictor wheels as well depending on years.

The engine install parts are the same, it's just the electrical connections that can be different (most mentioned above).
