Read about this girdle in one of my magazines. I was wondering if I should bother getting one for my LQ4 build or not. I'm debating on running it up to a 408 and aiming for 500 rwhp.

Yea... LQ4/LQ9 iron blocks are pretty strong. I've heard 1000+ hp out of them before.

sounds like i won't be needing one then. i'm planning for 500 rwhp but if they are handling up to and above that much power then sounds like i got my hands on a pretty damn good block. not bad seeing as how it was free.
