What can i do for an intake?
Hey guys. I swaped a LT1 into my camaro and the 1LE elbow i planned on using runs right into my alternator. I cant turn it upside down because the IAT sensor is too short.
I could use the stock setup but its restrictive isnt it?
What about a MAF TPI firebird elbow?
Any ideas guys?

That is what i will do then. Adding splices into wires makes me uneasy though cause its just one more connection that can fail.
I think bingo has that ram air setup for that hood.
thanks

You should have no problems with your wires if you do a good job soldering the wires together and use heatshrink-tubing. Yeah its not ideal but if done right then its not that bad either.

I say just make a pigtail to lengthen the harness. You can get all the terminals and wires off the internet and saves you from chopping in to your harness.
