LS1 oil pan swap question

Car: 88 IROC-Z , 00 CAMARO SS
Engine: BUILT 5.7 IN THE IROC, STOCK LS1 IN THE SS
Transmission: 700R4 , 4L60E
LS1 oil pan swap question
has anybody used a LH8 oil pan(hummer H3 5.3 oil pan) on their 3rd gen camaro ls1 swap? i know it hangs down alitle bit more then the ls1 pan but will it still work? Its still like 2.5 inches shorter than a 5.3 truck pan so i dont think it would hang too low. Looks like it leaves alittle bit more room for clearance issues not to mention its alittle cheaper as well. any help thanks
