FUEL VAPOR LINE QUESTION.
FUEL VAPOR LINE QUESTION.
Just did a swap to an LS1. I had to remove the evap can in order to make room for the engine. It will not be smog tested so I was thinking about just leaving it out. I know it would be best to make it fit, but it's just not going to.
Anyways, I have the fuel tank vapor line just hanging now in the engine bay and need to do something with it.
If I had a vented gas cap, could I just plug the line?
Can I run the line right into the intake manifold?
Can I just put a small K&N filter on it? I just don't want the fumes in the engine bay.
Anyother ideas? Thanks for the help.

Vented cap and plug/remove the line is one option.
Putting the vapor canister under the fender is another.
4th gen tank with the vapor system on it is another.

Re: FUEL VAPOR LINE QUESTION.
All the lines, canistor, and junk on the tank disappeared from mine.
Make sure you leave a vent line on top of the tank so air can escape when you put gas in it.

Re: FUEL VAPOR LINE QUESTION.
on my evap line i just put a filter on it but while driving apparently it leaks gas out of it. What would cause it to do that and would plugging the line and putting a vented gas cap fix the problem?
