lq9 vs. ls7 final decision

i know you cant really compare the two engines as the ls7 is a far better motor power for power but i am 19 years old and money is the factor so i just had a some questions and it will determine my decision on what i should do all input accepted .... so i have someone who parts out motors and he has 2 that he is trying to sale to me 1 is a complete lq9 out of an 05 silverado ss for $1200 or a ls7 out of an 05 zo6 without wiring harness and computer for $4500 i have 4500 saved up and these motors will be going in a 92 camaro currently with a stock 350 in it so bottom line which would be a smart move i could get the lq9 and use the remaining money on add ons or get the ls7 and have have it stock for some time because i am rich lol and 1 of my main goals is to beat my brother 06 gto :engarde:

Re: lq9 vs. ls7 final decision

I would say the lq9 because of the cost of the swap not factored in ,plus there's enough upgrades to keep the lq9 competetive with the goat.

LS3 with a cam and ported heads is your best bet. LS7 is way too expensive, unless it is out of a donor car.
