Engine: current tbi305 swapping to 94 lt1
91 rs w 5.0 swap for a lt1
im pretty new at engine swaps but i got the engine /tranny in and got to where itd turn over and im not getting spark how should the coil be hooked up ??? like from the orginal plug to the coil or the one on the lt1 harness

you need to be using the lt1 harness. Do you have power to the coil? Are you using the underhood fuse box? try lt1swap.com for some wiring diagrams.

yea i got power to the coil but im using the original coil plug in with the new secondary plug in and im not using an under hood fuse block but have it i have the 94 camaro the lt1 came out of and jus wanna drive my car again its been about two months since i started this operation!!!!!!!!!!!

it should be like this.

I don't know that many people who have not used the underhood fuse box. If your trying to use your connector from the tbi then I don't think it will ever work. The pcm controls most of this stuff. When you took the lt1 harness out of the car it should have come out as a whole unit. The wires you need to splice into are on the c100,c220,c230 connectors of the lt1 harness. Then you need your c100(bulkhead connector),c207 clear connector under your dash.

so i would need to splice the original coil connector from the c100 connector im totally confussed on the subject to where to spice it
