It was laying on top of the engine, found it when I was changing the intake to the LS6 piece.

Hmmm. Haven't seen anything like that on MY engine (which uses a DBW throttle), so I'm guessing that it might be related to the throttle cable...

(FWIW, I have changed the intake manifold on this engine from the truck intake to the L76 car intake that fits under the hood...)

Perhaps. The donor car had traction control. Of course, I never saw the car and didn't do any of the removal.

Fuel Rail Cover mount????

or it could be a bracket for the ramair box the SS's had....

that part goes over the fuel line quick disconnect. Once the line locks into each other, that slides over the line to futher lock them on, kindalike a saftey, as if you cant get that one, the line isnt seated right.

Bingo... Its a quick disconnect lock. I dont remember any being on my donor car, but my donor car was worked over pretty good. I dont have any of them on my car as is. Im using russel quick disconnects on the fuel rail and fuel line. The rest are factory 4th gen fuel line disconnects.
